Wyn Enterprise: Security Filters in a Semantic Model
The semantic model supports the user context for data filtering. The UserContext attribute filters report data to display only data specific to a current user.
Create a Security Filter
Select an entity in the semantic model, and then select the Security Filter property in the Properties on the right and click the list icon.
Set the name of the filter.
Click the Click...field and select the field in the current entity table as the filter field, for example, we select the Email field.
Select the matching method. Four matching methods are supported: Equals, Not Equals, In and Not In (In and Not In are used for multi-value situations).
Select user information as the filter parameter, for example, we select UserContext.Email.
At this time, the filter will filter out the same value in the entity's Email field as the currently logged-in user Email.
