Connect to MariaDB

To create a MariaDB data source in Wyn Enterprise, follow these steps.

  1. On the Resource Portal, navigate to Create (+) > Create Data Source.

  2. Select MariaDB in the data source list on the left or in the icon view on the right.

  3. Fill in the database configuration information for the selected data source.

Field Description
Name* The name for the data source that you want to specify.
Server* A server name or address.
User* A user name to connect to the MariaDB database.
Port A port number, the default is 3306.
Password* A password of the MariaDB user.
Database* Enter the server MariaDB instance name or click the drop-down to select the instance.
Use Configuration String (Advanced) Use this option to connect to the data provider through a connection string. The format of the connection string is:Server=myServerAddress; Port=myServerPort; Database=myDataBase; Uid=myUsername; Pwd=myPassword;
Use Table/Field Name Mapping If you check this option, you can either import a CSV file or manually enter the display names for the required tables or fields in the Mapping dialog. In case of the RDBMS databases, you can also import the name mapping information from another database. For more information on mapping table and column names, visit this topic.

* Required fields

  1. Verify the MariaDB connection by clicking Test Connection. If the data source is available, and the credentials are correct, you receive a notification on successful connection.

  2. Click Create after the connection is successful.

    You can view the added data source in the Categories tab of the Resource Portal.
